Hello. I Am Yessenia.

I am an accomplished Operations Specialist and a dedicated PA Army National Guard NCO (25U), bringing over a decade of high-volume logistics and operational leadership experience. My career is defined by driving process efficiencies, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring operational continuity across complex environments.

My educational foundation is uniquely robust: I hold a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of York, which informs my strategic, visual approach to operations. I am currently completing my Associate in Business Administration and focused on earning my Bachelor’s degree in Project and Supply Chain Management at Penn State University, with goals to achieve the PMP certification and a Certificate in ERP with SAP.

Key Operational Expertise from Military Service (25U):

My military experience goes beyond IT systems (computers, network infrastructure, and radios) to encompass comprehensive operational management:

  • Logistics & Inventory Control: Routinely tracking inventory, issuing hand receipts, and maintaining strict chain of custody for both traditional and sensitive equipment.
  • Mission Execution: Directing the loading, transportation, setup/teardown, and recovery of equipment within established timelines to consistently meet critical mission requirements.
  • Maintenance & Readiness: Conducting and documenting detailed vehicle and equipment maintenance checks and annotating deficiencies for repair, ensuring continuous operational readiness.
  • Personnel Management: Functioning as a Training Leader and Supervisor—mentoring, evaluating, and managing soldiers to drive collective and individual performance.

Seeking Interesting Project Collaborations

I am actively looking to connect with professionals for engaging and challenging projects that require a unique blend of analytical, logistical, and creative skills. As a practicing artist with a B.S. in Graphic Design, I strategically integrate skills in photography, drawing, illustration, and logo design, offering a detail-oriented perspective to process visualization, documentation, and creative problem-solving.

In my extra time, I write, draw/sketch, take photos, illustrate, and review art.
