The good news is there are people we can look to — the Pope, leaders in technology who act in good faith, and creators. Yet even they are subject to those who control the money, who sit above the State and can ultimately decide where these technologies take humanity. How do we combat the loss of the human soul when some humans strive to merge with technology itself, like Elon Musk’s Neuralink?

In this series, we watch what our leadership is doing and strive to find the right response to technology before it goes too far — before AI reaches the singularity. Today we still have a choice. Tomorrow, that choice may be gone.
